My third child is currently in her final year at this daycare. I have been thoroughly impressed throughout the years. Many of the lead teachers have been there for 10+years. The entire facility is in excellent hands...both the director and assistant director are caring, responsible, and extremely professional. All in all, my children have been happy at daycare and have done very well transitioning to elementary school. I have peace of mind each day that when I drop them off, they are in good hands.

A Message from
the Director

Welcome to our fantastic preschool in Greensboro, NC. My name is Tammy, the school director, and I have worked in the industry as a teacher and administrator for more than 10 years.  I am passionate about early child care and truly believe that learning begins at birth.  It is my privilege and joy to be a part of your family’s early education experience and at our school we strive to make that experience the best possible.

Childcare Network focuses on the social, emotional and physical development of every child in our care.  Our teachers encourage a nurturing learning environment for our children and their families based on year-round gardening.  We grow little minds from infants to preschool and school age through structured curriculum and activities.

We focus on Language Development by creating learning experiences within each of our classrooms, with specific and intentional weekly interactions related to language development.  Our Infants, Toddlers and Two Year Old classrooms focus on Sign Language while our Three Year Olds, Four Year Olds, and Pre-K classes focus on Spanish.  The older school agers, our Young Achievers, focus on Japanese.
Our school offers two enrollment options for Pre-Kindergarten, the North Carolina Pre-Kindergarten Program (NC Pre-K) and a specialized program titled Kindergarten Prep Academy (KPA).  Each program is designed and facilitated daily to ensure that your child is ready for Kindergarten.  With KPA, learning happens year-round in order to prepare your child to enter Kindergarten in the fall.  Childcare Network has even introduced a Summer Readiness program as part of our KPA to allow our students to continue developing the skills necessary for success in Kindergarten, while they are enjoying summer fun.  The NC Pre-K program is a state funded program with different indicators that determine the eligibility of the students who enter the program.  This program utilizes a schedule similar to that of the local school system and operates 6 ½ hours daily.
Both programs provide free developmental, vision, and dental screenings for enrolled students. Ongoing assessments and observations of all students are provided throughout the year and parent conferences are scheduled in both the Fall and Spring.   Our Pre-Kindergarten teachers work hard to provide great learning experiences through structured activities for our four and five year olds.  The structured curriculum and activities help children expand their thoughts and imaginations as well as prepare them academically, behaviorally, emotionally and socially for their new environment.  At Childcare Network, getting our students ready for kindergarten each year is fun, fun, fun!!

Every summer we kick-off our Adventure Summer Camp for children ages 5-12.  This summer camp is filled with exciting field trips, cooking projects, science experiments, educational activities, gross motor play and so much more!!!  It is important to make sure that students balance their summer play with educational opportunities so that they remain ready for school when the summer ends.  We even have a Summer Reading Program that encourages students to read from a book of their choice every day, in order to earn credits toward a prize at the end of the week.  Our Young Achievers in the after school program also participate in weekly clubs that highlight activities in a range of areas that interest them like Cooking Club, Science Club, Drama Club, Crafting Club and more!  It’s always an exciting time at the school.

We provide on site breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack to keep the children energized throughout the day.  They work hard and are continuously exploring and discovering new things.  Every day here is packed with excitement!

It is indeed my pleasure to work with great teachers and have the opportunity to impact so many children and their families.  All of us take great pride in being so much more than a preschool in the Greensboro community.  Childcare Network provides the educational foundation for each child to be successful throughout life with quality curriculum and activities for every age group.  We are affordable and work with every family to meet their needs making us unlike any other child care provider.

Give me a call or come by our school in Adams Farm for a tour! I know you’ll find that we provide excellent care, the best educators in the area and a well-balanced curriculum for daily learning at every age!  I look forward to meeting you and your family soon!
See you soon!
