My children have been attending Child Care Network since January 2012. We had reviewed other daycare centers before I went back to work, and had driven past CCN several times on the way to Costco. We chose CCN initially because of my return to work date when other daycare centers only had wait list options. Now, we would not think of changing to another center, even if our work needs changed. The staff does an excellent job with our children, and I saw a progression of excitement towards learning with my 2 yr old when he first started attending CCN. A Message from
the Director

Welcome to our wonderful school in Wilmington, NC. My name is Shane Terzaken and I’m the school Director. I have my Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Methodist
University, and my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Dakota.

Our school provides a safe, educational, and collaborative atmosphere for the children here in Wilmington. An atmosphere where students are excited to learn, teachers are excited to teach, and our parents and families feel welcomed. We strive to create a sense of community where everyone works collaboratively together.

Our preschool is rated FIVE STARS by the Division on Child Development in the state of North Carolina.  We're so proud of that and work hard to maintain such a great status. The daily curriculum that we teach focuses on physical and emotional development and cognitive development.  Our “Whole Child” philosophy builds skills that lay the foundation for the success of our children in the future.
Our school provides many programs that fit the needs of all children. We have classrooms ranging from infant through school-age. Each classroom is developmentally appropriate for the age group it serves, and each curriculum is grounded in the educational philosophies that meet the needs of each child.

In addition to education, we also provide nutritious meals for the children throughout the day.  USDA approved breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack are served.

We pride ourselves on truly being "The Working Parent's Best Friend", making care for your child affordable and working with each of our families to provide the best education for their children.
Come visit us! You'll have the opportunity to meet our outstanding and professional staff, observe some of our classrooms, and learn more about the wonderful experience we offer our families here.  We look forward to meeting you and your family soon!
See you soon!
