About our Child Care & Preschool Center in Hiram
Welcome to our school in Hiram, Georgia! My name is Leslie James and I am the Director of Childcare Network #310. I have worked a variety of positions within the early childhood field. I started out as a Toddler Teacher then moved to Assistant Director, and now the Director. I love working with children and watching their minds work and grow! While traveling to Haiti as a part of my college studies, I had the opportunity to work with sick and underprivileged children. This experience really helped me develop my purpose and compassion, and solidified my decision to have a career in childcare.
Here at Childcare Network, we strive to provide your child with a quality learning experience. One way we do this is by uniting parents and staff to contribute their experiences to the child’s learning. We also have a fantastic curriculum that is age appropriate for each age group. My goal is to bring the families at this school and the community closer together, through parent participation and community involvement! We view our parents as partners in the learning process, and can accomplish this through good communication between parents, teachers, and myself.
We want your child to develop not only intellectually, but also socially and emotionally in a relaxing, loving, and helping environment. The children and parents should look forward to coming to our school feeling happy, safe, and empowered to learn and grow. This excitement for learning ultimately results in a good foundation in education and in life!
I would love to show you around our school, have you meet our great staff, and learn about our curriculum. Please feel free to stop by or schedule a tour with us. We look forward to hearing from you soon!
