About our Child Care & Preschool Center in Norcross
I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am so excited to be a part of the Childcare Network family! I am looking forward to a very productive and exciting year at #134. My name is Pamela Burtch and I have worked in Early Childhood Education for over 20 years. I have a CDA, Paraprofessional Certification, and Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Certification as a Medical Assistant and I am currently enrolled at Kaplan University to obtain my BS in Business Administration. My management experience has included Owner, Director, and Personal Manager. My Classroom experience includes Infants thru School Age, Pre K and Kindergarten Teacher.
I love Georgia! I was born at Fort McPherson, being a child and wife of a sponsor in the military, I never had the pleasure of living here. The diverse culture and different types of entertainment are some key features of why I love the state. The experience of meeting people with different backgrounds, the down home welcome displayed by many, and the ability to experience an array of multicultural atmospheres minutes away from each other is a blessing. I have been back in my home state for 26 years and counting. Every child that comes in to my facility becomes special in my life. My nieces and nephews enrolled at Childcare Network, I recommended the school because I felt that the mission and philosophy displayed the characteristics of what their parents were looking for while seeking care.
As a Director at Childcare Network #134, it will be my mission for our school to be the best it can be. To partner with families and staff in order to build a positive culture and caring community that promotes integrity, family well being and a safe healthy and nurturing environment where children can learn and grow. It will be my mission to make sure that the time your child spends with us is a safe, happy learning environment. Our staff is always welcoming and empathetic to the needs of our families and students.
As the working parents best friend, we need to make sure our families are supported and experience firsthand the love we feel for our students. I look forward to spreading joy every day at #134. Whether it be happy students or happy staff, I look forward to seeing a slew of smiles walk through the front door each and every morning; hearts filled with the desire to be here, to be successful, and to have pride in what they are accomplishing. Please do not wait for formal conferences to discuss any concerns you have with me. My door is always open!
