About our Child Care & Preschool Center in Greensboro
I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. I am so excited to be a part of the Childcare Network family!
I am looking forward to a very productive and exciting year at #56. My name is Yvonne Isley and I have a Bachelors of Science degree with a concentration in family relations and child development. In addition, I have my B-K license and I am certified as an administrator. I have held positions such as lead teacher, education specialist, assistant director and center director over the past 24 years.
I was born and raised in Burlington, NC where I currently reside. I have a son who attended child care until he was in public school. The experience was great, as they provided him with a safe, inviting environment that allowed him to receive experiences that helped him develop emotionally, socially, intellectually and educationally.
As director at Childcare Network #56, it will be my mission to make sure that parents feel safe and secure leaving their children with us, that those children leave every day with a smile on their face, and that Childcare Network plays an integral role in establishing a solid foundation for their child's educational journey. My goal will be to make sure each child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive in our school and that when a child moves on; they look back on their years at Childcare Network with happy and fond memories.
I want parents to know that one of my primary goals for the children at Childcare Network #56 will be to foster an environment where each child can challenge themselves and achieve success. I want them to learn that it’s safe to try anything, that it’s ok if they fail, and that there is always an opportunity to try again. The use of our structured Bright Baby and High Reach Learning curriculum allows teachers to enhance the learning experiences to make learning fun! We also incorporate STEM concepts into their activities daily. For our school age children, we offer After School care, pick up and drop off from several schools, and homework help. During the summer months, your child can be a part of our Adventure Summer Camp when learning really gets fun and adventurous. Young Achievers get to attend field trips and attend clubs such as cooking, crafting, sports & fitness. We encourage parents to take advantage of our open door policy and join us in the classroom. We communicate using our CNI Cares electronic daily reports, monthly newsletters, and weekly emails.
I look forward to spreading joy every day at #56. Whether it be happy students or happy staff, I look forward to seeing a slew of smiles walk through the front door each and every morning; hearts filled with the desire to be here, to be successful, and to have pride in what they are accomplishing.
Please do not wait for formal conferences to discuss any concerns you have with me. My door is always open!
